Scintillon Research Institute Website

Scintillon Research Institute is a Squarespace website project for a nonprofit biomedical research center based in San Diego. The goal was to create a professional and trustworthy online presence that clearly communicates the institute’s mission, research focus, faculty expertise, facilities, events, and public engagement opportunities. The website is structured around the needs of a scientific organization. Visitors can explore institute information, read research news, view faculty and lab profiles, learn about core facilities, discover career opportunities, browse incubator-related content, follow upcoming events, and access donation options. This makes the site more than a static informational website; it works as a central digital platform for researchers, students, donors, collaborators, and the public. A key focus of the project was organizing complex scientific content into a clean and accessible website structure. Research institutes often need to communicate to different audiences at the same time, including scientists, students, partners, funders, and community members. The website supports this by combining institutional storytelling, news updates, faculty visibility, facility information, event promotion, and nonprofit donation flows. From a design and development perspective, the project demonstrates Squarespace customization, content architecture, responsive layout design, scientific website structure, navigation planning, and professional page presentation. The final result is a polished institutional website that supports credibility, discoverability, and engagement. This project demonstrates my ability to work on professional Squarespace websites for organizations that require structured content, strong visual presentation, clear navigation, and trust-building design.
