Top Surgeon is a custom Squarespace medical education platform designed for advanced spine surgery training. Unlike a standard healthcare website, this project focuses on delivering structured surgical learning content through custom guide pages, master checklists, and interactive 3D preview integrations.
The platform is built around expert-led surgical education by Dr. Choll Kim, with content focused on Gen2 Biportal Endoscopic Spine Surgery, LESS — Laser Endoscopic Spine Surgery, and MIS TLIF — Minimally Invasive Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion. The public Guides section presents premium technique guides designed to support training and real procedural preparation, with the goal of helping surgeons “make the first case go well.”
A key part of the project is the custom learning structure. The site includes dedicated Master Checklist pages that organize surgical preparation and procedural steps into a more practical learning format. These checklists make the platform feel closer to a training tool than a simple informational website.
Another important feature is the 3D Previews section. The site includes interactive 3D preview resources for LESS Interlaminar, Biportal Ipsilateral Decompression, LESS Transforaminal, MIS TLIF, and Room Setup. These 3D previews are embedded within the technique guides, giving users a more visual and interactive way to understand complex surgical procedures.
